The Dressing
For the love of honey mustard dressing, this simple gut friendly honey mustard salad dressing with kefir couldn’t be easier. All ingredients go into a bowl and then mixed together to create a hearty dressing you would guess is made with yogurt! Lifeway Kefir is a perfect compliment to the savory mustard and sweet touch of honey with heart healthy garlic and seasonings. For me, I tend to use my mini food processor a lot to really mix it up well. What you need:

- Plain Lifeway kefir
- honey mustard
- water
- apple cider vinegar
- minced garlic
- salt
- pepper
- oregano
After that, you combine all the ingredients together and place directly into the refrigerator.
Storage for the dressing
Your gut friendly honey mustard salad dressing with kefir will live in fridge. I like to make this a day before and let all the flavor set together in a jar overnight. You will use the whole jar in less than two days so no need to worry about how long it is fresh for! Use this a dip with your favorite vegetables or smear on a hearty sandwich layered with ham and turkey with cheese.
Gut Friendly Honey Mustard with Kefir
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Lifeway Kefir, plain flavor
- 3 tablespoons honey mustard or 2 tablespoon mustard with 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 1/2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
- pinch of salt
- dash of pepper
- sprinkle of dried oregano
Directions
- In a bowl or jar combine all ingredients together.
- Mix well, cover and chill or use right away.
