- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- Dash of salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/3 cup butter
How to Make Almond Flour Biscuits
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt butter in a small dish.
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Fold in butter and eggs.
- Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and toss between two hands to mold. This is a wet mixture so it is too messy to roll.
- Place onto baking sheet then gently flatten out the tops. This way it all bakes evenly.
- You should have 7 total. If you are going for 8, you will want to reduce the baking time to about 16 minutes.
- Bake 18-19 minutes.
- Remove, let set on pan for 1 minutes.
- Serve warm with your favorite jams, jellies, syrups, or make a breakfast sandwich. Anything goes with these biscuits!

Frequently Asked Questions
What are almond flour biscuits?
Almond flour biscuits are gluten-free biscuits made with finely ground almonds instead of wheat flour, resulting in a soft and slightly nutty baked good.
Why are almond flour biscuits different from regular biscuits?
They are softer and slightly denser because almond flour does not contain gluten, which normally gives structure to traditional biscuits.
Are almond flour biscuits healthy?
Yes, they are often considered healthier because they are low in carbs, gluten-free, and contain healthy fats and protein from almonds.
Why is my almond flour dough sticky?
Almond flour dough is naturally wetter than traditional dough due to its high fat content, making drop-style biscuits easier to work with.
Can I make almond flour biscuits dairy-free?
Yes, you can substitute butter with coconut oil or a dairy-free alternative.
