Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ medium onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • cup beef broth

Seasoning Blend

  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add onions and cook until softened.
  • Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  • Stir in all seasonings.
  • Add tomato paste and cook 1 minute.
  • Pour in beef broth.
  • Simmer 5-7 minutes until thickened.
  • Serve in tacos, burritos, bowls, salads, or nachos.
