Ingredients
  

  • 1 lbs ground beef
  • 1 large shallot diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • heaping tbsp tomato paste
  • cups beef broth add ¼-½ cup more if needed
  • cup uncooked macaroni noodles add ¼ cup more if needed
  • 2 cups shredded cheese sharp cheddar, or any cheese
  • salt and ground pepper to taste
  • parsley chopped, optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  • Add ground beef and diced shallot. Cook until the beef is browned.
  • Stir in garlic powder, chili powder, and tomato paste. Cook for 45 seconds.
  • Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer.
  • Add uncooked macaroni noodles and simmer for 10–12 minutes until the pasta is tender.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheese.
  • Add salt and pepper, and parsley if using, to taste and serve warm.
