- 12 oz wide egg noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz baby bella mushrooms sliced
- 1 medium onion diced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour all-purpose or gluten-free
- 2 cups beef broth For deeper flavor, use a combination of beef broth and mushroom broth.
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- 1 cup sour cream room temperature

Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside. *Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining noodles.
In a large Dutch oven or deep skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned.
Remove excess grease if necessary.
Add butter, onions, and mushrooms. Cook 6–8 minutes until softened and lightly caramelized.
Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir continuously for 1 minute.
Slowly pour in beef broth while stirring.
Add Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
Reduce the heat to low. Stir in sour cream until smooth and creamy.
Add cooked noodles and toss until fully coated. Add a splash of pasta water if the sauce becomes too thick.
Allow to set 5 minutes before serving.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
