Ingredients
  

  • 1 32-oz bag frozen fully cooked homestyle meatballs about 48 meatballs
  • 1 cup grape jelly
  • 1 12-oz bottle chili sauce about 1½ cups
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce optional, for a smokier flavor
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce optional, but recommended
  • ½ tsp garlic powder optional
  • ¼ tsp onion powder optional
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Spray the inside of a 6-quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray if desired for easier cleanup.
  • Add the frozen meatballs directly into the slow cooker. Do not thaw.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together: grape jelly, chili sauce, barbecue sauce (if using), Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder. Mix until mostly smooth.
  • Pour the sauce evenly over the meatballs. Gently stir until all of the meatballs are coated.
  • Cover with the lid. Cook on: LOW: 4–6 hours or HIGH: 2–3 hours. Stir once or twice during cooking if possible.
  • When the meatballs are hot throughout and the sauce has thickened into a glossy glaze, switch the slow cooker to the Warm setting.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve directly from the slow cooker with cocktail picks or a serving spoon. Enjoy!
