Ingredients
  

For The Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground beef (85/15)
  • ½ lb ground pork or ground turkey, beef, chicken
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 small yellow onion grated
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp ground all-spice
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Cream Gravy

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour or gluten-free flour
  • cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Combine breadcrumbs and milk. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Mix together all meatball ingredients until just combined.
  • Roll into 1½-inch meatballs.
  • Brown meatballs in butter and olive oil for 6–8 minutes.
  • Remove meatballs. Melt butter in the same pan.
  • Whisk in flour and cook 2 minutes. Slowly whisk in beef broth until smooth.
  • Stir in cream, Worcestershire, Dijon, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  • Simmer until slightly thickened. Return meatballs to the skillet.
  • Cover and simmer 10–12 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve over mashed potatoes or egg noodles.
