The Basil and Oregano Seasonings

I think there is no secret by now, oregano and basil are my all time two favorite seasonings to work with. Lifeway Kefir Avocado Chicken Salad with Fresh Basil

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/3 cup Lifeway Kefir, plain flavor
  • 1 large avocado
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1-2 teaspoons everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 teaspoons dried or fresh oregano
  • 1/3 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Grapes, halved
  • Walnuts, optional
  • cooked shredded or diced chicken

Directions

  1. Add cottage cheese, kefir, avocado, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, everything bagel seasoning, oregano, and half of the chopped basil into a food processor.
  2. Process until combined.
  3. Toss with your diced or shredded chicken.
  4. Add your remaining basil and grapes, optional nuts.
  5. Toss together and enjoy!
  6. Good for 2 days in the refrigerator in an air tight container.
