Level up your appetizer game with a breakfast staple in our house.
For game day I double the recipe to make 32 because I always have smokey’s left over so why not just use them all. I do this in 2 batches which takes 30 minutes total.
I love the turkey option to keep it low fat along with rarely using any egg wash or butter before the seasoning, however I do give the option on the recipe card. To do this, add seasoning on a plate, after rolling links into dough you will roll the top of the pig in a blanket into the seasoning then place on baking sheet.
I love to add blue cheese into the center of each one because I like to be extra when guests are around! Calories don’t count on game day, HA!
Add anything in the center and dunk in your favorite condiment!
