It’s so BERRY good! You gotta CHIA it to believe it! It’s true, these tiny seeds are JAM packed with nutritional value and easy to scarf down in this fruity sensation!

Homemade berry jam straight from your freezer, no additive except the love you put into it.

I always have frozen fruit in my freezer as it come sin handy for smoothies or snacking, or in this case… JAM! Use ANY berries you like. If you aren’t into buying a 12-ounce, no problem. Buy fresh fruit, slice, and freeze overnight!

Any berry combination works here, I even threw in some cherries! I like the sweetener as a option because sometimes depending on the fruit mixture it can get a little sour. In the recipe there are options for everyone!

Berry Chia Jam

  • Servings: 2cups
  • Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients

  • 12 ounce bag frozen berries
  • 1/8 cup chia seeds
  • 2 tabelspoons fresh orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup, honey, agave (optional)

Directions

  1. Place frozen berries, chia seeds, and orange juice in a large bowl.
  2. Stir to coat. Cover and let defrost for 2 hours.
  3. Using a large fork, mash ingredients together. Stir again, let sit another hour, covered.
  4. Add sweetener to taste.
  5. Place in a storage container, good for 1 week refrigerated!
