Chocolate Chewy Cookie Bar

Chocolate Chewy Cookie Bar

1 dough with yet again another amazing way to bake this cookie dough!

These bars are in between a cookie and a brownie. They are amazing by themselves but why not bring more chocolate to the party with add chips and heath bar topping for a salty crunch!

This dough makes 2 pans! Also, check out Peanut Butter Stuffed Cookies! Use the other half of the dough for stuffed flavor!

I started by letting the dough get really cold. Use half of the cold, I like to save the other half for a few days later for another round 😉

Then you press down into one even layer, using your hands! If you aren’t getting messy you aren’t having fun!

Totally doesn’t have to be perfect. You won’t even notice after you top it with extra goodies.

You bake and then remove. Upon removing, turn the oven off and then top with chips.

I use Ghirardelli and then whatever else I have….

Then….after placing the pan BACK in the oven for 2 minutes the chocolate is melted and shiny! Add on your favorite topping on half or the whole thing!

I can never decided what I want so I always just top half! HAHA

Enjoy with milk, wine, or coffee. Sooooo good in the morning with coffee…try it out sometime!
