You really cannot have an exact recipe with this and this why I like it so much!
If you got olive oil and lemon you can add fresh herbs and flavor to your liking. For me garlic is strong so I reduce it, but you can add it!
The marinade is something I typically make and leave over night in the refrigerator for the flavors to have a chance to bloom. Also the flavor combination is great for chicken too. This marinade lives in my refrigerator in big batches! This beautiful herb topping can totally be done while preparing the salmon as well. Pair with my 7 Ingredient Greek Salad!
Option: I use red pepper flakes to give this fish a kick with a squeeze of lemon juice if the herbs are unavailable!
15- Minute Salmon
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced
- 1/2 tablespoon fresh basil, minced
- 1/4 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1/4 tablespoon lemon juice
- Pinch of pepper
- 1 4-6-ounce salmon fillet
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees F. Grease or line a baking sheet with parchment.
- In a small bowl, stir olive oil, herbs, garlic, lemon, and pepper. set aside.
- Rinse and dry salmon, place on prepared sheet.
- Generously spread marinade evenly across the top of the fillet.
- Bake 12-14 minutes depending on the size of your fish.
- Let rest for 2 minutes then place on a bed of zoodles sprinkled with quinoa, avocado, fresh parsley and/or basil.
- Enjoy!
