RAW VEGAN/DF/GF Bliss balls to give these the correct term, featured with fresh berries, dates, coco powder, and packed with a burst of nuts!

These are fun because you can customized these to your taste. The freeze dried raspberries help bring out the raspberry flavor. You can skip this step but you will miss out on all extra fun!

These make about 10-12 depending on how big roll. I like about a 1” if I share, but just for me I like a bit bigger. Remember these are mostly all natural ingredients, so treat yourself to two!

Chocolate Raspberry Date Balls

Ingredients

  • 14-15 dates, pitted
  • 1/4 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup shredded coconut (optional)
  • 1 cup finely chopped almonds
  • 1 3/4 cup almond flour**
  • 1/4 cup freeze dried raspberries, crushed

Directions

  1. In a food processor, grind almonds into tiny pieces. Place in bowl, set aside.
  2. In the same processor, process dates and raspberries together. Add coconut and cocoa powder.
  3. Scoop out mixture into a large bowl, add in chopped nuts, almond flour, and crushed raspberries. Fold to combine.
  4. More for dry, add in more almond flour.
  5. Roll into balls, place in air tight container. Store in refrigerator 1 hour before eating to firm up to your liking. Good for up to 10 days.

*Use an nuts you like. For me I like to chill the mixture for about 10 minutes and then roll. Works both ways!

**Coconut flour can be in place of almond flour!
